When I first saw the test footage that was leaked on the internet in July 2014 for Deadpool, I started to think when they will take an example from this and make a full length movie and after a while FOX announced on September 2014 that they are giving a release date and the movie is being made. I WAS SO HAPPY AND COULD NOT WAIT FOR IT.

I was just a kid when I first picked up a comic book about Deadpool and felt in love with the character and what he did – Deadpool was so awesome and still is. He is always funny and ruthless in what he does. He is known as the “Merc with a Mouth” because of his blabbering and has the tendency to break the fourth wall – which is used in the comics as to create humorous effect. Rob Liefeld is a genius for making Deadpool and a big thanks to him for this iconic character.

Finally, about the movie: this movie is on of the best comic book superhero movies ever made and stays true to the comics. It has all you need in a movie – love story, action, revenge seeking, comedy and so on. I can say that Ryan Reynolds made Deadpool his character for life and he will play him for a long period of time (that what he said in an interview) – with his costume and his mannerisms it stays so true to the comics, I just love it. All the jokes in this movie where so funny, I couldn’t stop laughing. Not everybody will understand the jokes because there are many cultural references in them (not many know them to understand) and some of the jokes are too vulgar (I have a weird sense of humour so I loved the jokes in the movie). If you won’t know some facts about Ryan Reynolds (like last portrayal of Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Green Lantern movie) some jokes you won’t get. The fourth-wall breaking was just a delight and was the best and funniest thing – you have not seen that in any other superhero movies.

They really did well with putting Deadpool in X-Men universe and how he reacts with the two X-Men (Negasonic and Colossus) (Deadpool funny addresses the fact that there isn’t no other X-Men character – maybe too busy) characters in the movie – especially when Deadpool is trying to fight with Colossus and he breaks his arms and legs – I was laughing so much that time. But also there are many scenes to look forward in the movie with them together. The villains (Ajax and Angel Dust) were great. Ed Skrien was good as Ajax and I loved his performance. Almost forgot to say something about T.J. Miller (Weasel) – he is funny as hell with Ryan Reynolds – especially the bar scene after the experiment.

The marketing for this movie has been phenomenal – the movie has been very effectively marketed as a Valentine’s day movie, and the famous billboard “💀💩L” by many have been loved all around the world. Even people who have not heard anything about Deadpool, will go see the movie because it has been marketed so well that everywhere you turn you see Deadpool. I know a lot of people that dosen’t watch these kind of movies (superhero) but still went and saw it and was happy that they went because in this movie you have all that makes a movie appealable to the audience – love story, action, comedy and a superhero (kind of).

At the end I really wanted to see what will happen later on with the character. I think that the sequel will be better than the first.

Conclusion: Stop sitting at home and go see the freaking best superhero movie of all time – DEADPOOL!!! You won’t regret it.
