Let me start of by saying that this was a pointless remake. Remakes should introduce something new and interesting to appeal to new audiences but what this movie does is just rehash the original movie that was made in 2002 by just casting new actors and putting more blood into it (that’s all) and the original was good and I enjoyed it because it introduced something new to the horror genre and was interesting. The movie is full of plot holes and sometimes doesn’t make any sense at all – they should put more effort in making some sense at least. Ok, ok….some stuff were good in this 2016 remake – like the bloody dog (he looked awesome), the kid that bites everybody who he sees (funny), some gore scenes were quit ok and some acting from the cast was good, especially Dustin Ingrams and Gage Golightlys.
If you haven’t seen the original movie this 2016 remake should be good for you. If you have seen the original – you can try to watch it but it will be like watching the same movie just with a little upgrade.
