This was the movie I wanted to see. Who would not want to see Daniel Radcliffe/Harry Potter play a white supremacist? Tell me who? Everybody wants it. It feels like for me this is the month with Daniel Radcliffe movies. I have already seen three movies featuring him (Now You See Me 2, Swiss Army Man and counting Imperium). All of the performances he has made is very different from each other. And I like that he makes such changes. It is always great to see an actor try to challenge himself – it will always show the talent of the actor and it is easy to say Daniel Radcliffe is one of the most talented actors of our time. He is not the kid from Harry Potter any more.

For this role Daniel Radcliffe did his job. A performance that is worth watching. The only downside to this character was that he always looked scared and you could see it easily – it was sometimes funny. But maybe that is his character – he was scared because he did something that was little bit extreme. The funniest thing was the hairstyle at the beginning of the movie – he looked like Harry Potter, ha. Too much references to Harry Potter I think – I will stop right now. The character developed throughout the story – the movie shows you how a person at the beginning tries to take down white supremacy group, not even wanting to participate in all of that, later wanting to, succeeding in the end and helping others from the white supremacy groups to go on a straight path. Overall the performance is great and the highlight of the movie.

The story was really engaging. It gave us a good look in the white supremacy movement and how it all works. The characters in the white supremacy groups were great to watch because some of them are just finding themselves but some are ready to start a race war. The story starts slow but that is not a big problem. When everything progresses it gets more and more intense and interesting. The problem was that some of the characters in the story dissapears and no explanation is given like where are they and so on. The story keeps on going without them. Please more explaining next time.

The thing that really made the movie a little hard to watch was the performance of Toni Collette as Angela Zamparo. I don’t know why but after I saw Krampus (2015) I just can’t enjoy Toni Collette in any movie. For this role she really just looked like the same character as always. Even in this movie it doesn’t feel like she is playing an FBI agent. The most annoying thing that she did was her overdoing the gum chewing and it was making me little bit angry. Looked like she put everything in the performance of gum chewing not the character itself. Please somebody teach her to act more seriously in her roles – make her put more thought to her characters.

Overall the movie is interesting to watch and you should see it just because of Daniel Radcliffe because he is the best part of the movie.
